Bill-The Magic Man

It took a very long time to do this for some reason...maybe too close to the subject.
What goes through one's mind, when you draw someone that has been in your life for so long...someone who's influence has been a part of what has made me...me?
Mostly I had ...alot of unvoiced complaints about how hard his head was to draw.

So, this is Bill..The Magic Man.
That song by Heart always reminds me of him..

"never seen eyes so blue.."
"cast my spell of love on you a woman from a child"

sigh. I love him an awful lot..always have...
just now, he made it easier for me to say so.


(I still dont get how he gets down the stairs faster than I do in the mornings...no fair!)

Very contrasty compared to the reference photo ( [link]) ...Bill is sort of a contrasty kind of guy.

Edit: Bill is now my fiance. Took me long enough to work up the nerve. He asks me again everyday...I keep saying "yes"

Edit..and now I have said "I do" Bill is now my husband....lucky bastard.
